‘undoubtedly the best run GP course I have been on, the content and booklet are outstanding’
‘the outstanding booklet is nailed to my desk’
The highly popular Hot Topics course booklet is produced at the last minute to ensure that it is both relevant and up to date and you will receive your copy when you arrive for your course. The material is all fully referenced so that you know exactly where the information comes from.
New for 2010 is the Hot Topics CD which contains an electronic copy of the booklet. The CD is ideal for browsing and is fully searchable. There are direct links to online reference material to make further research easy.
The CD is provided for you without further charge.
The course covers the most recent developments, but every 6 months the entire booklet/CD is fully updated. Throughout there are ‘take-away’ learning points and ideas that will have an ‘impact factor’ in practice, to aid your CPD as we move towards revalidation. Throughout the booklet there are also ‘Keep it simple summaries KISS’ of common areas of care that are easy to refer to during the consultation.
The Booklet also contains material relating to non-clinical Hot Topics such as the latest political / administrative / ethical issues, as well as a guide to critical appraisal and Evidence Based Medicine e.g. how to interpret a confidence interval or calculate a NNT.
You can now book our courses online and pay by debit or credit card, or you may download an application form which you can print and mail directly back to us with your cheque (in £Sterling).
